Das nenne ich mal einen guten Grund ins Kino zu gehen! Denn zum vierzigjährigen Jubiläum von Monty Python führten Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin und Terry Gilliam das Oratorium Not the Messiah am 23. Oktober 2009 in der Royal Albert Hall in London auf. Und nun ist das Spektakel an einem Tag - nämlich am 25. März - in ausgewählten Lichtspielhäusern in ganz Europa zu sehen. Die Liste der entsprechenden Kinos findet sich auf der offiziellen Webseite.

Am 5. Oktober 1969 - heute vor 40 Jahren - hatte die legendäre und begnadete britische Comedy-Truppe Monty Python mit dem Ministry of Silly Walks und dem Dead Parrot Sketch ihr TV Debüt im britischen Fernsehen. Ihre Sketche sind auch heute noch unerreicht und unglaublich gut!
